Addressing Misconceptions in Statistical Reasoning using CODAP: Sampling Concepts
Abstract
Based on a study of middle and high school students' statistical thinking, this paper discusses misconceptions about sampling. Common Online Data Analysis Platform (CODAP) activities related to the misconceptions are suggested with step-by-step sample analyses.
