The Implementation of Online Homework in College Algebra and Its Results

Abstract


In this study, we implemented an online homework system in a College Algebra course and compared the students' performance to the previous term, during which a traditional textbook with no graded homework was utilized.  There were no significant differences in performance with the online homework system.  We discuss some implications of our study and suggest future research directions.
